Any sense of unease or dis-ease in the body keeps us from experiencing the fullness of life. The word yoga means union of mind, body and spirit. What happens in the mind also happens to the body and spirit. In other words, if something is bothering you spiritually, emotionally, or mentally, it is likely to show up in your body. Physically in backbends we struggle due to tight hips and/or shoulders. Mentally we feel constricted from habitual thoughts patterns that ultimately limit us and the way we receive our life. We all hold within our bodies emotions and misguided thoughts that keep us from being receptive.
In this workshop we will learn how to open the front body safely and will tap into utilizing the power of the back body. This yoga practice is specifically designed to open, strengthen and illuminate you!
